Berman Sobin Gross Partners to Present at Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association Conference
Berman Sobin Gross is excited to share that partners Charlie Schultz and Matthew Engler will be speaking at this year’s Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association (MWCEA) Annual Conference in Ocean City, Maryland.
The MWCEA Conference is the go-to event for anyone involved in Maryland’s workers’ compensation system—attorneys, claims professionals, doctors, employers, and labor reps all come together to learn and share ideas. MWCEA is a statewide nonprofit that works to keep everyone in the workers’ comp world informed and connected through education, legislative updates, and professional development.
At the conference, Charlie Schultz will break down highlights from the 2025 legislative session, focusing on key workers’ compensation bills and the ongoing effort to update Maryland’s hypertension law. Matthew Engler will join a panel discussion covering the latest appellate decisions that are shaping workers’ comp law across the state.
